'Bye Schwabs :(

Five years ago I met a friend.  We both had little daughters named Daphne, and soon our husbands became friends, and then we each had some more kids and they became friends, too.

It didn't take long for them to become like family to us.  Their authenticity, gentleness, honesty, and kindness break any expectations for you to to feel like you need to present a fake and perfect life. They genuinely love people and encourage them to thrive and flourish.  We all need people like that in our lives.  We all need to be people like that.

They moved this past weekend, far away to Montana.  Thank goodness for the internet to help the world feel a little bit smaller, but still, daily life won't be the same without them close by.

Hopefully Montana knows how lucky they are to get this family, because we're over here crying in our cereal over their loss.

It's not too late to change your mind, guys!! We'll take you back.

Melissa, Even in Prineville we'll miss them! It's really hard when people you love move away--the daily contact is gone. But God is faithful: he'll bring them back for visits and you'll have all eternity together. Oh glorious day when the saints are reunited around the throne of grace!!
